The Relaxation Station is a hydro-massage service powered by the revolutionary machine called the SpaCapsule®.
A SpaCapsule® hydro-massage session consists of high-pressure water jets that move up and down your body providing a completely relaxing and rejuvenating full-body massage. The best thing is…you don’t get wet, you remain fully clothed, nobody will touch you, AND a 20-30 minute session provides the same benefits as one hour of conventional relaxation massage, so you can easily fit a session into your busy day.
Aromatherapy, oxygen therapy, audio and video are all included in the Relaxation Station experience and we will work with you to find the intensity levels that are just right for you.
We suggest having a SpaCapsule® hydro-massage session once a week to keep in good form and as maintenance in between your deep tissue massage sessions or chiropractic adjustments, for example.
We have various package deals available if you plan to have sessions regularly.
You can either come into our location, which is within Merio’s Hair Design (in the Towngate Mall at the corner of Bank Street and Hunt Club Road), or you can book us for your next special event, where we will bring the Relaxation Station to you!
We have the only SpaCapsule® in the Ottawa area and we are happy to offer a free 10-minute trial session so you can try it before you buy it! We are confident you will love the experience, everyone does!

SpaCapsule® Technology
The SpaCapsule® is a self-contained, full body massage system, aroma-therapy unit, audio and video entertainment system packaged into one futuristic capsule-shaped relaxation station.
The built-in audio and video system allows the user to complete the circle of total relaxation and sensory stimulation. Depending on the choice of the audio and video program the user may achieve creative meditation, trancework, restore and revitalize the senses, attain creative visualization, benefit from creative problem solving, enjoy brainstorming and much more. You can plug your own ipod into the SpaCapsule® and listen to your own music with the headphones provided. If you don’t have your iPod with you, we have our own iPod loaded with relaxing music that you can use.
The SpaCapsule® has an aroma diffuser built into it for Aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is often used for the relief of pain, care for the skin, lessening of tension, fatigue and overall to invigorate the entire body. Essential oils that are regularly used in the SpaCapsule® can affect and improve your mood, alleviate fatigue, reduce anxiety, promote healing and relaxation. When inhaled, they work on the brain and nervous system through stimulation of the olfactory nerves.
You can control the direction and intensity of the hydro-massage jets in the SpaCapsule®. You can also stop the machine at any time. You usually lay face down for your massage; however, you can lay on your back but you will need to protect some areas. You keep your clothes on and remain dry in the SpaCapsule®. You just need to remove your shoes and any sharp objects you may have in your pockets before getting into the SpaCapsule®.
